ArcSolar field guide / AI and team workflows

AI agents for solar: a practical buying checklist

An AI agent can read information, draft work or take actions when connected tools allow it. Those are different scopes. Before connecting a receptionist, coding agent or business assistant, define which accounts it can access, which actions it can take and when work returns to a person.

AI receptionist or human answering service?

Compare the service you will actually buy. Either may capture details, qualify an enquiry or arrange a callback depending on setup. Test routing, unsuitable requests, unavailable staff and appointment confirmation. Ask what happens when the service cannot complete the request; do not assume every human service only takes messages or every AI agent can book.

Three useful owner tasks to start with

  • Summarise a redacted pilot log: identify missing fields, state the period and keep unknown outcomes visible.
  • Draft an FAQ from current product documentation: ask for source links and review the claims before publication.
  • Prepare a website copy change in a preview: check the page and retain an owner for the release.

These are tasks for a separately approved general agent and its permitted tools. They do not establish that ArcSolar’s planned agentic chat is live.

Example: “call next week” is not a booked appointment

Illustrative enquiry: a customer asks to speak next week. Check whether the system has created a draft, an internal review task or a confirmed appointment. In ArcSolar, Review timing identifies an internal deadline, while a booked conversation requires its own supported appointment action.

What should you check before connecting account access?

General agents such as Claude Code can act through connected tools; their permissions and the trustworthiness of those tools matter. Start with fictional records and verify the scope. Customer messages and web content are data, not authority to change access or commercial terms.

ArcSolar’s embedded intelligence is separate from its planned agentic chat and voice agents. Confirm the live capability and workspace before assuming a general agent connection exists.
