Solar CRM implementation: what a working setup should prove

A solar CRM implementation is ready when the team can complete its real workflow, not simply sign in. Whether you buy software, a managed service or a template, agree who configures it, who owns the accounts and what evidence will show that the handover works.

What should the implementation agreement cover?

  • Named owner for setup, migration, training and provider connections.
  • Required users, permissions, products, pricing and customer documents.
  • Representative records to test, including work already in progress.
  • Support responsibility, unresolved items and the export or exit process.

What does a HighLevel snapshot establish?

HighLevel describes snapshots as reusable configuration assets, including workflows, forms and pipelines. Its documentation distinguishes them from contacts, conversations and third-party connections, which do not transfer as live account data. A template can accelerate setup; migration and connected-account verification still need their own evidence.

Example: the template loads, but the handover is unfinished

Illustrative pilot: an administrator sees the imported pipeline, but a sales rep cannot find the customer’s issued offer and the payment connection has not been verified. Mark those two workflow checks unresolved. Keep the migration owner and next test beside each item before opening the setup to the whole team.

What should you avoid assuming?

A managed service still needs clear scope and acceptance checks. A configurable CRM can work well when your team has the capacity to build and maintain it. Confirm the complete cost and the supported release; a demo with fictional records does not prove a live transaction.
