How it works
Household consumption = grid imports + solar consumed on site.
Worked example
300 kWh imported plus 180 kWh of solar consumed on site equals 480 kWh.
Before using the result
Use matching dates. Do not enter solar exports or total solar generation as self-consumption. This simple balance excludes battery storage and discharge; battery homes need a fuller energy balance.
