What must the office prepare?
- Confirm the retailer's web Work capability is enabled.
- Invite the named person as a Technician in Team & Access; have them complete the invitation and email verification.
- Select that person in the installer's Technician user control and save the link.
- Assign the installer to the intended field visit, then ask the technician to verify the job after signing in.

How does the technician open the job?
Use Technician sign in with the invited email, then open the sign-in link sent to it. If access is valid, a job link can return the person to their assigned work. An expired sign-in link needs a fresh link; missing assignment needs an office check.
Review the shared scope, date, site, equipment and available job documents before starting. Confirm uploads have completed and appear on the correct visit.

Example: the job link opens no assigned work
Illustrative example: Maya has an installer-company record and a copied portal link, but cannot see the visit. The office checks her invitation, the named installer-user link and the current assignment in that order. Sending the same URL again cannot supply a missing membership or assignment.
| Check | Who resolves it |
|---|---|
| Verified Technician membership | Authorised office member |
| Installer-user link | Installer record owner |
| Current field visit assignment | Operations scheduler |

Keep visit completion and project close-out clear
These instructions cover the web Work portal; native mobile Work has a separate rollout. Offline operation is not established. Technician access does not open the wider customer register, quote builder or finance workspace.
Completing a field visit does not close the project or prove rebate-provider acceptance. Compliance, inspection, grid, handover and financial obligations still need their own checks.

Follow the same visit from office to field
In an ArcSolar demo, review one assigned visit and the evidence the office has shared with it. Confirm who owns a failed upload, missing document or revisit before calling the work complete.
