What should the retailer verify?
- Record the manufacturer, full model identifier and relevant variant or nameplate details. Match the actual proposed stock, not just a brand or capacity.
- Check the official listing and any suspension notice. Save the source URL, date checked and applicable period; recheck if equipment or installation timing changes.
- Keep product-list eligibility separate from installer, site, network and scheme requirements. Give unresolved supplier evidence an owner before handover.
What changed for NEOVOLT on 7 October?
CEC lifted the suspension for BW-BAT-9.6P from 7 October 2026, subject to its stated nameplate conditions and other program/network requirements. The I–VI models remain suspended in the notice checked on 13 October.
The model number alone is insufficient: compare the voltage range, continuous charge/discharge current and battery designation with CEC’s table. CEC says this suspension was not a recall or an identified product safety issue.

Example: the installation date changes the answer

| Hypothetical installation | Eligibility review |
|---|---|
| 6 October 2026 | Within the suspension period: not eligible for STCs |
| 8 October 2026 | Check the exact nameplate and all other requirements |

CEC’s notice says installations from 15 September through 6 October are ineligible for this model. Relisting does not retrospectively fix that period. Use the current official notice when assessing an actual job.
What the software record does not prove
ArcSolar documents catalogue model/specification records, technical documents and field work. These support an owned review; this guide does not establish a live CEC feed or automatic STC-eligibility certification.
A changed catalogue entry does not rewrite an accepted agreement. Check eligible revisions for open offers; accepted or payment-locked quotes require the approved commercial-change process.
Carry the check into the handover
Review one model’s supplier pack and official listing in a demo. Keep the chosen equipment and outstanding evidence aligned with the issued offer and installer work order.
