AI electricity bill analysis

Turn the bill into reviewed quote inputs.

ArcSolar uses ArgonixIntelligence to extract bill usage, tariffs and site details, including the NMI when detected. Review the suggestions beside the bill, confirm the supply site and apply selected values to the quote.

Extraction helps prepare the quote; the rep checks the bill before applying the result.

What you can do

Prepare a stronger energy profile

01

Review the bill in context

Choose the intended attachment and assess it from the energy profile. Keep the source available while reviewing usage, billing dates and rates.

02

Catch expensive input mistakes

Separate daily supply charges from usage rates. Check cents versus dollars, multiple tariffs and the difference between billing and installation addresses.

03

Apply only the reviewed values

Fill empty fields or apply selected results with the available controls. Check existing values before replacing them and confirm site details separately.

Setup and workflow

Put it to work in ArcSolar

You need a supported bill attachment and access to embedded bill analysis. Confirm the resulting energy profile before using a savings forecast. NMI extraction is an input suggestion, not authority to replace the verified installation site.

  1. 1

    Choose the right bill

Open the quote’s Electricity bill area and select the customer’s intended bill. An unreadable file can still be handled through manual entry.

  2. 2

    Assess and review

Choose Assess bill with ArgonixIntelligence and wait for Review bill assessment. Check retailer, period, usage, rates, export credit and any site or meter details.

  3. 3

    Check the arithmetic

Worked example: 900 kWh over 90 days means 10 kWh per day. A rate of 30 cents is $0.30/kWh, so the usage charge is $270 before supply charges and other adjustments.

Questions

Before you get started

Can ArcSolar detect the NMI from an electricity bill?

Yes. Bill assessment can extract and display the National Metering Identifier (NMI) when found. Review it against the original bill and confirm the customer’s supply site before saving. An unreadable or missing NMI still needs manual checking.

Does grid usage equal household consumption?

Not for a home using some of its own solar. Grid purchases omit that self-consumed energy, so select the right consumption basis in the savings estimator.

What if the document cannot be read?

Use manual entry with source-backed values. Avoid filling gaps with invented rates or usage, and explain when the available bill cannot support a useful estimate.
