A practical example

  • Illustrative visit: required materials are missing. Record what is missing, assign an owner to resolve it and arrange the next action through the available work-order controls.
  • Keep installation, inspection, grid/metering and rebate progress distinct. A completed physical installation can still have outstanding documents or downstream work.

Keep these boundaries clear

Do not mark the whole job complete to clear a queue. A note or AI summary cannot certify site safety, installer accreditation or compliance. Use the responsible qualified parties for those decisions.

Put the checklist to work

Use one representative record to test the workflow before rolling it out across the team. Confirm what is supported in your plan and who owns unresolved work.
